Hashomer Hatzair is a Zionistic, socialist scout movement and, founded more than 90 years ago,the oldest active Jewish youth movement. The aim of the movement is to educate youth in terms of the ideals of Zionism, socialism and friendship between nations, as well as to be responsible members of their communities. Today, there are about 20,000 young members of Hashomer Hatzair worldwide.
