About us
Havatzelet was founded by the kibbutz Ha-Artzi movement in 1967. The objective of Havatzelet is to support social and cultural projects within Israel as well as to inspire additional activities in the fields of science, sport, culture and art. Havaztelet is responsible for different projects, which operate independently under their own name and administration, gaining a high level of recognition in Israel. Further, Havatzelet is an autonomous executive non-profit association regulated by public law.
Havatzelet - Cultural and Educational Institutions

The purpose of Havatzelet is to advance social and cultural projects in Israel and to promote new blood in the fields of science, sports, culture and arts. Havatzelet promotes studies by granting scholarships to students from peripheral communities.

Havatzelet has established as a priority the needs of peripheral communities and socially disadvantaged people in Israel. However, within the context of humanitarian efforts, it also supports international relief programs.
